3 miles north-west of central Aspen at 7,820 ft elevation. Single 8,006 ft runway with a 95 ft wingspan and 100,000 lb weight limit. Land south on runway 15, depart north on runway 33 because of terrain. Airport hours 07:00 to 23:00, no departures after 22:30.
9,000 ft runway at 6,547 ft elevation, 37 miles from Vail and 90 minutes' drive to Aspen. Fallback when aircraft cannot meet ASE's size limits or when Aspen is weather-bound. Customs facility on field.
