Questions

Dassault Falcon 900LX FAQ

Why three engines?
ETOPS-free oceanic operations, single-engine climb performance above FL280, and safety redundancy on very long overwater legs. The tradeoff is 15 to 20 percent higher fuel burn than a comparable twin.
Falcon 900LX vs G450?
The G450 has a slightly wider fuselage; the 900LX has better short-field performance, better single-engine ceiling, and comparable range. Real-world selection often turns on route mix and preferred manufacturer.
Can it land at London City?
Yes, the 900LX is approved for London City steep approach. Its high-lift wing and thrust reversers deliver the required landing performance.
Wi-Fi?
Standard on late-build examples via Ka-band satellite; older 900LX may have Ku-band or ATG only.
Where is it built?
Dassault, Mérignac (France) airframe; completions at Little Rock (Arkansas) for North American customers.
