Private Jet Charter Malaga to Ibiza

Malaga is 8 km south west of the city and operates around the clock, with runway 13/31 at 3,200 m and a second runway 12/30 at 2,750 m, so no business jet is restricted. Private traffic uses the General Aviation Terminal, built from the airport's original passenger building next to the N-340 and refurbished for private jet use. Sky Valet runs a 24 hour FBO in that terminal alongside other licensed handlers.

Gibraltar is the closer field for Sotogrande and the western Costa del Sol and sits on the isthmus at the Spanish frontier. The single runway 09/27 is 1,776 m of grooved asphalt, which suits turboprops and light jets rather than large cabin aircraft. Since July 2026, following the treaty between the European Union and the United Kingdom, Spain has been applying Schengen controls at the airport, so allow for border formalities that Malaga does not impose.

Ibiza lies 7 km south west of the town with one 2,800 m runway (06/24) and a dedicated General Aviation Terminal. Ground handling is compulsory for every general and business aviation movement and the airport is Level 3 coordinated, so each movement needs a confirmed slot. Hours are 24 during the summer season and 0630 to 2300 from 1 November, with one hour PPR outside those times.

Palma is the overflow and alternate field for the Balearics rather than a substitute for landing on Ibiza: runways of 3,270 m and 3,000 m, 24 hour operation and considerably more apron. When Ibiza refuses overnight parking, the usual pattern is to disembark on Ibiza and reposition the empty aircraft to Palma until the return leg.
